The 1 Winter Trend Anyone Can Pull Off

We saw some GIANT trends on the runway forecasting this winter’s lead styles. And I mean giant as in oversized. Some of the looks don’t exactly translate into something that can be worn by us non-red carpet walkers. I mean, I’m 5’2″, average length jeans sometimes appear oversized on me! But the best part of personal style? Is that there are ways to make trends work for you. 

Exhibit A: Runway style

For those of us that want to walk without tripping over our shirt? Or those who actually have to fit their outfit into their car to drive to work? We should just steer clear of oversized anything altogether, right? No! Because oversized can also mean warm and cozy, or fashion forward and bold!

Exhibit B: Yourway style

Oversized can still be done in small pieces! Chose one item rather than an entire outfit and do it your way. Balance volume with an overall sleek look. Also choosing solid, neutral colors helps to dull the wow factor of the oversized piece.
