Last year when I saw that kitten heels were going to be making a comeback I was sure that was a trend I would have no part of. My theory on heels is go high or go home! In fact, I would have quickly listed kitten heels as one of my fashion pet peeves. I love sexy, shocking, statement heels; ones you can wear with a paper bag as a dress and no one would notice because they were so busy staring at your shoes. The Zack Lo’s, Louboutin‘s, Giuseppe‘s of the shoe world. Alas kitten heels have made a fashion impact this spring…and I can’t believe it but I kinda like it!

 It’s like a flat with spunk! Perfect for working, running errands or just in general appearing effortlessly casual. And a pointy toe kitten heel (Have no idea why round toe kitten heels exist but I assure you I wont change my mind on that trend if it becomes big!) works almost as well as a full heel to elongate legs. A nude pointy toed kitten heel elongates even more and is a perfect addition to any bohemian ensemble. A printed kitten heel, especially animal print, is perfect for adding a bit of chic to any jeans or khakis.

So as much as it surprises me to admit… kitten heels get Trust in Tricia’s stamp of approval and I recommend adding them to your spring wardrobe!
