The media forecasts trends based on these launches, store buyers stock their stores with designs based on these reports. Then by the time the season finally hits, your overwhelmed with images you’ve seen from the runway vs what is in stores. ‘How are these garments supposed to be worn again?’ ‘Is anything I already have in my closet considered trendy?’
I’m here to make it easy for you! I’m betting you likely have a good amount of my favorite spring trends in your closet already. If not, these styles are easily attainable and wearable. And the fun part is that they can all be mixed and matched with each other to create different looks!
- Khaki is a classic fabric (or color) that can easily be paired with florals and stripes.
- Florals and stripes are actually patterns that can be worn together, just be sure to repeat at least 1 color in each piece for cohesiveness
- Exposed shoulder styles can come in the form of completely off the shoulder, one shoulder coverage or even just cutouts that show off the shoulders
