Trust in Tricia is on YouTube!
Explaining to people what I do as a stylist is sometimes difficult for them to understand. “Personal shopper, oh okay you go buy things for people” but rarely does anyone know what a closet analysis is. I had an idea to make a What Is A Closet Analysis video to help people understand, but the project got put on the back-burner. Until I met Rhiannon and Pete of Do Something Different Media Marketing. Their energy was immediately positive and enthusiastic. I discussed with them the options of video marketing for small businesses and decided quickly it was something I wanted to do. Not because they told me that YouTube was one of the top 3 most utilized search engines, but because the duo immediately made me feel completely comfortable. I was so impressed that they had done their homework on me before our meeting, they had visited my website and even watched the recent episode of Style It Up TV that I was on. They already had a grasp of my company and my services, and they understood my perspective as a rookie female business owner who has trouble downloading a picture from the Internet, never mind taking advantage of all the social media marketing and viral content available out there. They introduced the idea of a ‘webmercial’ to me (a commercial on the web) and I knew right away Trust in Tricia needed one!
Working with Pete and Rhiannon was a blast! They are reliable, understanding and creative. They worked quickly, I had a webmercial outline and template waiting in my email way before I expected it! It amazed me how much they really got me, really understood my vision for myself and my company, from just our one meeting! Then working with them on set to film my on camera sections was a blast! They made me feel so feel comfortable! If you’ve ever been on the spot sitting 2 feet from a camera with all lights on you, you know it can be intimidating! We laughed and joked, but all the while getting the work done quickly and efficiently. And then when Rhiannon took out her camera for an impromptu photo session I was psyched! You know I’m not one to shy away from the lens! I have since also had DSD make me a promotional video for my Style Swap, and I am definitely working with them on my long awaited What is a Closet Analysis video!
With that said, I am excited to announce that Trust in Tricia is on YouTube! …*exhale*…this is a major moment for me! A milestone for myself and my business. When I saw that they had written for the webmercial ‘Tricia Cromwell Founder/CEO of Trust in Tricia’ it was exciting to see it in print. But then when I had to actually say the words, it was surreal! I had to do a couple takes because it took me a few moments to grasp that I am indeed a Founder and CEO!
