Style Swap Success!
At 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, Allie and myself as well as our amazing helpers gathered outside of Petit Robert Central. After about 3 trips of going back and forth bringing in clothing, fixtures, and everything else needed for the swap we were finally ready to set up in the gorgeous Paris Room. It didn’t take us long to set up and prepare ourselves, and before we knew it our first swapper arrived! After the first 5 swappers we knew this Style Swap was bound to be a success. Our swappers brought full bags of clothing, accessories, shoes, and purses; our “merchandise” was loaded with designer labels such as Dooney & Bourke, Tory Burch, White House Black Market, Nine West, Gap, Banana Republic. The list goes on and on, we were so excited to see all these great labels and perfect swappable items!
While waiting for the Swap Boutique to open, everyone enjoyed a cocktail or two while socializing at Petit Robert Central. We had some great raffle prizes that were donated by The Tannery, Crush Boutique, bebe, Boston Harbor Cruises, Fisher Experience Salon and Spa, Mark, Boston Fashion House, Deanna DiMarzio Photography, and yours truly Trust in Tricia. The best thing about the raffle was the fact that the ticket proceeds benefited the charity Project Smile. We would really like to thank you to contributing to helping this charity! After the winners were chosen, another lucky lady was chosen as a winner for the secret judging of Best in Shoe on behalf of Smiling Stiletto.
Not much longer afterward was the Style Swap open for swappers to do what they do best and shop for new treasures to add to their wardrobes! It is always a blast to watch a Style Swap in action; people getting excited to see other interested in their clothing or excited to find something new that they fell in love with! This was everyone’s favorite part of the swap who worked it because this is what we have been waiting for since that afternoon, the day before, and even 3 months before! I can certainly say that we all had fun and hope that everyone who came had just as much fun as us. Thank you to everyone who supported Smiling Stiletto, Project Smile, and of course Trust in Tricia! see more pictures from the night
