New and Different Fashion
After three weeks away from home in a different country, I definitely have the resources to report back to fashion lovers about what I saw on my vacation! I have been in Bulgaria and what I have noticed is that it is like many other cultures in that there are many different styles; some women had a bohemian vibe in their wardrobes while others had an edgier look. It’s how people accessorized their outfits that made them stand apart from each other – an awfully familiar statement we hear from Trust in Tricia! Hair styles, shoes, jewelry, belts, and even make up.. you name it and they wore it!
While there I bought two articles of clothing for myself – what a shocker only two! I bought an asymmetrical dress that can also be worn as a skirt (both shown below!) that I absolutely love! I also bought a pair of crochet-looking, cream colored boots that I adore! They are both amazing pieces to my summer collection.
Maxi dresses, jeans, flowy shirts, and both long and mini skirts were popular with young and older women from Bulgaria, which is not so different from styles here in Boston! There were so many shoe stores in the city I stayed in I wish I bought more, but they too were very similar. Summery sandals, heels, and those boots I bought were the only shoes I ever saw women wearing. These boots came in all different lengths (I bought mid calf length), but there were ankle, mid calf, and knee high boots in all different colors!
