I was extra excited to be able to sit down and really Pick Alison Barnard’s brain. Do you know any other business owner with two women’s boutiques in the North End, literally 5 minutes from each other?! Two boutiques, one neighborhood, one owner- but two totally different feels. It was exciting to learn the reasons behind each store opening, and how Alison manages owning both stores and still finding time to help mentor college students hoping to one day open businesses of their own.
