Fall 2017 Trends
Fall is many people’s favorite time of the year to shop and get dressed- from the lux fabrics and endless layering opportunities to the cozy sweaters and wide assortment of boots that we just can’t get enough of. I tracked down 7 of the season’s most wearable and attainable trends just for you… happy shopping!
- Plaid- a classic print for men and women that can literally be found on any item; jackets, suits, pants, dresses, purses, ties and shoes
- Floral- spring was all about airy flirty florals, but the print gets darker and more mysterious for fall
- Denim- Jeans sales spike every fall as the durable fabric rules the cooler months. Grab your favorite old pair, rock it as a shirt or don’t be afraid to do a little denim on denim
- Silver- I personally find this trend to be most appealing in footwear, handbags and accessories where the bling can make any exisisting outfit pop
- Trench Coat- Another classic style I’m excited to see on the forefront again. You don’t have to be selling watches out of a dark alley to pull off this timeless look for men and women
- Red- Last fall crimson ruled the scene, this year we’re getting daring and bolder with this confident hue
- Embroidery- you can catch all things embroidered this season, from minimal trims to all out patterns
*Tricia’s Tip: don’t forget the that third layering piece to help put your personal style stamp on your outfit, especially this season. Fall is made for durable fabrics like leather, wool, tweed and suede to rock as jackets and cardigans, never mind the essentials scarves that not only keep us warm but also allow a quick pop of color to any outfit.
