Boudoir Transformation Photoshoot- Modern and Vintage

I had been wanting to style a vintage 1920’s inspired boudoir photoshoot ever since I did the Gatsby Glam Vintage photoshoot a few years ago. Something about the full coverage lingerie they wore, the robes, lace and silk, during an era where women were coming out of their traditional full coverage garbs and their sexuality was peeking through during the rebellious prohibition. Everything about the era intrigues me, specifically the fashion. But the lingerie trends are something that we are seeing reinvented again and again, and in 2013 with the boom of boudoir photoshoots, so much inspiration is pulled from this amazing time. So when I was shopping for the photoshoot I utilized all of my available resources. I shopped at vintage stores for aunthentic pieces, mall stores for vintage inspired items and then hit the craft store to attempt to DIY those pieces I had to have but just coudnt find.

The plan behind the styled photoshoot with Cloutier Photography and my Total Package gals was this: take one real life relatable girl as our model and show how we can transform her in modern and vintage boudoir looks (which is what this group specializes in). With Stephanie on hair, Maryjo on makeup and myself on wardrobe and props you can see how the Total Package can glam a gal up for a photoshoot by the before and after images below.

Check out my portfolio for more of the photoshoots I have styled. Vintage 1950’s pinup boudoir is my next dream project to do. I cant wait!
